LEFTON CHICK LOVE

How sweet is this Easter Chicky centerpiece. One of my "original" creations. The base is a yellow bunny pedestal dessert plate adorned with vintage lace around the edges. A sweet vintage Lefton Chick is the focal point along with a 1917 vintage ephemera Easter Postcard backdrop. Silk hydrangea in light green and light blue along with pastel eggs, a rhinestone floral brooch, and a large strand of green glass beaded trim all add the perfect adornments to this "one-of-a-kind" Easter creation.

How perfect for your Easter table or your decorated sideboard. The blue and yellow have become two of my favorite color combinations. They compliment one another and look perfect amongst your other pastel spring decor. Available now at Treasured Heirlooms.

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY

JEESH, this week flew by. I hope I'm not the only one who thought so! I am a bit out of sorts these days with the weather here in New England. The weather greatly affects my emotional and physical well being. It has been really strange having no snow all winter. Although I am so happy I didn't have to worry about shoveling, the plants and trees need water. No doubt the city will put a stop to anyone trying to water their gardens this summer. Then again, when we have such sunny, warm winters we usually end up with dreary, wet summers. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Valentine's Day came and went in a flash. Poof and it was over. A lovely friend of mine sent me a sweet package in the mail. I forgot to take photos of the outstanding chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting before I ate all six. Yup I ate them all in a jiffy. They were small cupcakes though! It was a joy to have such a pretty package sitting outside my front door when I came home from my errands around town. I think the best part was having someone think about me when I least expected it. Isn't that always a joy. My friends are my family and I truly do love them. So if you are one of my dear friends, I thank you for being there.

Thank you for dropping by my blog to see what's new. The weather for Massachusetts has been sunny and warm (if you consider between 38-50 degrees warm). I know we do here in the middle of January. Usually we are buried under 2 or 3 feet of snow if not more, but thankfully the few inches that fell this weekend already melted.

I have been having a wonderful time getting ready for spring. Spring cleaning has already begun. The attic treasures are finally being sorted through (been meaning to do this for years) and being posted on my websites. Everything from antique jewelry to vintage clothing, lovely figurines to awesome baby planters. You name it, I've probably got it. So it's all coming your way. I figure I should be done listing new product by Christmas 2012! LOL

I am also working on absolutely gorgeous Easter Ephemera and new Spring Wreaths. I'll let you know when they are ready for new homes. In the meantime, enjoy your day and have fun window shopping.
