Here Chicky Chicky Chicky
I'm waiting for Spring... I think I've got a long wait like most of the country. Here in Wilmington, MA we missed both blizzards (luckily), but it is windy and chilly as it should be for February. The sun shines bright like it's July though! Go figure.
I just had to play with spring colors this week. It was a MUST! I paired up a vintage chalkware chicky with a very old Easter ephemera post card. Don't you just love the lemon yellow and aqua. Sometimes pulling myself away from pink is difficult, but lately I'm really enjoying it. I soooo love this color combination.
Enjoy!

Cathy, That is just adorable! We are getting a Snow Storm tonight, but who cares my creative thoughts are on Spring and that is where they will stay for awhile too!

So cute Cathy-love the yellow and aqua and the chickie so adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove the eye candy! So sweet! Cathy, I just noticed in your side bar that your home was featured on the cover of the Dec. issue of "Romantic Homes" magazine. I was a subscriber to that magazine at the time and especially loved that particular issue. I carried it around until it was battered. Your home was my inspiration for changing up my Christmas decorations the next year. I collected pink ornaments over the whole year, and my sweet husband let me buy a white tree. My daughter and I had such a good time decorating it. I still have that magazine and look through it often. Thank you for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThank you again for stopping by my blog over the weekend for Pink Saturday. Your sweet comment made my day.

I Love it! I have been on an aqua kick for months. I also have early spring fever. We are in the South but it does get cold here and I've had enough. I am ready to see the flowers and green grass again!
ReplyDeleteYour Easter creation is absolutely gorgeous! Totally inspiring me with the aqua and lemony yellow--might have to make something with those colors today....I'm making a card with aqua right now....might have to branch out a little with the next one!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely day--thanks for the beautiful inspiration!
