"WHERE BLOGGERS CREATE" &
"PINK SATURDAY"

Welcome to the Party hosted by Karen Valentine of "My Desert Cottage". This is the second year Karen has given amazingly, creative bloggers a chance to show off their creative spaces for everyone to see.

Jo Packham of "Where Women Create" will choose three winners from over 450 entrants. Click on the banner below to see the entire list of participants and the amazing prizes. Thanks to Karen's amazing idea and all her efforts we will all have a chance to see the creative spaces in hundreds and hundreds of artist's homes. I hope you enjoy your visit with me today.

Several years ago when I opened my first online website Treasured Heirlooms, I had an extra guest bedroom where I used to fool around and create and photograph my pretties. As time passed, it was clear that this guest bedroom needed to be transformed into my Office/Studio. Hubby and got to work and added a much needed counter space for our computers and office supplies. In place of the bed we brought in a lovely oak table where I could create my treasures in front of the windows.

The space was lovely and still is, but my business has progressed and so too has my need for work space. Here are the photos of my Office/Studio and a down below you will be invited into my Glitz & Glam workshop.

I hope you all enjoy the pictures and just a few of the thousands of items I've created and sold over these past five years. Thank you all for your friendship and your dedication as returning customers. As always, without you my online boutiques would cease to exist.

Enjoy the view my friends.

Now onto some photos of my Glitz and Glam station.

My home is a very small Townhouse so space is limited. As my business began to grow, I was forced to find more room to house all of my supplies for my "Themed Wreaths", "French Princess Centerpieces", "Crowns", "Marie Antoinette" creations, and whatever else I choose to work my "Magic".

Anyone who knows me and my work is well aware that I am a "Glitter-aholic" (and I mean that in a good way!) I don't know one Pink Fairy who doesn't love glitter, do you? Almost every creation which leaves my home has at least one little sprinkle of "fairy dust" somewhere on it so I can give a little of my magic powers to you.

Here is my newest space, which I've only just begun to decorate. Hopefully I will have more time this summer to finish what I've started. But I wanted to give you all a glimpse of where I play everyday.

  1. Oh my gosh I love what you've done to the room and you know I love your work. Limoges Teacups are darling. I still plan to purchase a wreath. Right now my husband is in intensive care due to a stroke he had Monday. News is positive, but please keep him in your prayers...

  3. Oooooh and aaaaahhhh, sweetpea, you haven't disappointed one bit! It's fantastic and could rival Willy Wonka's candy factory for eye candy any day! Just too stunning for words. I think my favorite are the little polka dot pots for feather storage though. Hard to make a decision with so much to see. Great, great job!!!

This weekend is Paper Cowgirls Art Event & THEN I will finish preperations for the mermaids. I CAN'T WAIT! Hugs! Charlene

  36. Cathy,
    Hello!
I am just catching up! I had such a busy stressful week last week that i needed to take a break from blogging.
Love both your "old" and your new creative spaces!!! Is the new one in your home too?
I live in a townhouse too and both of my sons moved out last year so I have had a wonderful time "playing" with their old rooms. I did make the one into a craft Room but had no time to be part of Where Bloggers Create but i do have a link to a photo album of my creative space on my sidebar should you find the time to take a peek!
I do love everything you create and you know that i think your home is divine!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie
