NEW ENGLAND ESTATE SALES BLOW OUT
1800s-1900s ANTIQUES & VINTAGE TREASURES
on TREASURED HEIRLOOMS.net

As promised, I have been uploading beautiful antique and vintage finds for the past several days. Stunning and diverse treasures from local estates. Knowing my customer base helps when purchasing new finds, so there is something for everyone here.

Since there is quite a large inventory new items are being added as fast as I can
get them cleaned, photographed and uploaded. Antique mirrors, depression glass, linens, porcelain, chalkware and so much more.

Have a ball and check out my boutique called "Estate Sale Blow Out", I know you will find something. And don't forget to keep checking back as I will continue to add
vintage finds for the next week or two.

I FINALLY MADE IT!!!
I'M ON VACATION

I have been waiting for 7 months to take my mini-vacation to visit my BF, Michele. Michele lives in beautiful West Virginia where the countryside is just breathtaking. Her back porch view is a beautiful little lake and gorgeous mountains. The birds are eating their breakfast from the birdfeeder that sits just outside the kitchen door. The ducks are swimming in the lake down below and the buds are bursting and the tulips are swaying in the breeze. After a long, long, long cold winter in good ole New England, it was a pleasure to enjoy 80 degree temperatures yesterday as we ran around Martinsburg antiquing.

We came home with bags full of treasures, but realized that we left one big package at one of the shops we visited (OMG!!!) ~ so today we head back to pick up our forgotten package and spend another day looking for treasures.

If you have never been to Michele's website
~ ROSE PETALS AND BLOOMS ~

click on either one of her creations below and enjoy the view.

Well I'm off to do more antiquing. I'll be back next week with a BOATLOAD
of new vintage treasures! Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Don't forget to take a peek in at "Treasured Heirlooms" or
"Elegance and Whimsy" while you are here.

EAST MEETS WEST

This weekend I had the honor of meeting two amazing and beautiful women. Donna Norris, Associate Publisher of "Romantic Homes" magazine and Hillary Black, Editor of "Cottages & Bungalow". A few months ago, Donna mentioned she may be sent from California here to Boston some time in March for a business trip. We talked about the possibility of getting together for lunch when she arrived.
Last week I touched base with her and she confirmed she was coming to our big City and hopefully we would have a chance to meet.

When she arrived we made plans to get together for lunch. On Saturday my husband and I took a quick jaunt into Boston and I had the pleasure of having brunch with Donna and meeting Hillary.
We meet at Au Bon Pain in Copley Plaza for some sweets and coffee.

Donna is originally from Massachusetts (although her accent is gone completely and my accent is, well.... still there) so she and I felt quite at home together. Donna is exactly as I pictured her, beautiful, kind, and so sweet. We talked about everything from our favorite restaurants to our favorite vacation and shopping spots along the
New England coast.

She and my husband Mike both love the Red Sox, the Celtics and good food so there was plenty of chatting all around. It was as though we had known each other all our lives. Although we only had a few hours, every moment was precious and it meant the world to be able to thank the ladies from "Romantic Homes" in person and show my gratitude for the opportunity of having my home featured and being chosen to be on the cover of one of their holiday issues.

Hillary ran out from her booth at the Trade Show to meet Mike and I and say "hello" and brought me the new issue of "Cottages & Bungalows" (not even on the news stand yet). Can you hear me giggling with excitement? Hillary is bubbly, beautiful, and so very sweet. We all laughed and laughed while we tried to get good photos of each other to show our friends. Why is it that taking a good photo when you are short on time is almost impossible?

Well here is our best shot at taking a few quick pics before we had to say "good-bye".

Thank you ladies for an afternoon I'll never forget.

I WANT CANDY!!!!

I think I have a bit of an obsession with Sweets.
Whether it be real or faux, I MUST have
something
sweet every day!
I have been playing with sweets all week
creating
sumptuous pretties.

Welcome to my world. It's almost as good as
Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, but
a little frillier. I think
Marie Antoinette and her ladies would be
thrilled to spend their time relaxing here sipping
champagne and eating pastry. I know I do!

A little something for all of YOU...

It amazes me how fast time flies. Although I try to enjoy each and every moment. There just aren't enough moments in the day for me create, play, glitter, sleep, eat, blog, keep house clean, take photos, pack, ship, create, create, create. I find myself awake most nights wishing it were morning already so I could "begin again" and run down to my "Glitz and Glam" station and maybe create at least one of the hundreds ideas I have floating around in my head (there have been thousands just waiting there for right "time" ~ most of my life).

I love to post blogs and read blogs so I'm not letting another moment go by without blogging.

So my blog today is dedicated to YOU, my friends.

"Thank you" for the hundreds and hundreds of inspiring emails, letters, and posts I've received over the past two years. You have no idea what a kind word means on sometimes an otherwise sad day. I don't know where I would be without you.

"Thank you" to all the new friends I've made all over the world. Some of you I have had the privilege of actually meeting in person and some of you I will most likely never meet. It doesn't matter, you are all more important to me than you will ever know. We laugh together, we cry together, makes pacts together, chat together, cheer each other on, inspire each other to create, but most importantly we understand each other and we are touched by each other's souls. What could be better than that?

"Thank you" to Everyone who believed in me (even those of you I have never spoken to or met) when I didn't believe in myself (which is a lot of the time). You are what keeps me on my path of happiness and success in life. I love you for believing in me.

"Thank you" for all the amazing inspirational stories, blogs, emails, snippets, photos, and posts which I would never have read, seen, felt, or known about if it weren't for you. They have changed my life in ways you will never know. I finally feel connected to the Universe.

"Thank you" for the people who are happy to hear from me when I telephone you or send you a quick email. It warms my heart to know that I have put a smile on your face. Even if only for a few moments.

I "Thank God" that I am able to live each and every day with such a happiness in my soul and peace in my heart because of all of YOU. I never dreamed there would be such a time in my life when "Everything is PERFECT". I need nor want for anything. I have so much love from all of you and I spend each and every day being able to do what I have always dreamed of doing ~ creating beauty for YOU. And for this "I THANK YOU!" Who could ask for more.

Have a GREAT DAY from one friend to another. You're the best....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEEE!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Don't I have a great voice!

Well the Big Day is here and my Sweet Pea bought me some lovely presents.
I woke up to two dozen stunning pink and white roses which smell amazing and are quite a welcome ray of sunshine on this frigid cold day! Just beautiful. What more could a girl ask for, right? But there was more.

A lovely birthday card and one of my "all time" favorite movies "Love Actually" were also beautifully wrapped and ready for opening. He went out to grab us our morning coffee and came back with my Chocolate on Chocolate birthday cake. What can I say? I've got the best Sweet Pea on the planet. Kind, thoughtful, caring, and loving. I'm one lucky lady.
