This has been the most wonderful experience. Since this was my first time hosting a swap, it gave me great respect for all the ladies who host unique and fun swaps throughout the year. Trust me, it takes alot of time and a great deal of organizational skills to pull it off. I had to test my middle-aged brain to see if I still had it in me. All of you believed in me and for that I "thank you".

Valentine's Day Give-Aways

I was blogging around this morning and came across some awesome blog "give-aways" from very talented Ladies.

Bunnies and Cupcakes

It's definitely a Bunny and Cupcake kind of day!

Last night while DH was intently watching the Super Bowl, very quietly I might add, I spent hours and hours getting lost in the blogging world.

I didn't realize that 5 hours had passed and I was still intently reading and enjoying photos of hundreds of blogs. The thing I enjoyed the most was the stunning pictures on everyone's blogs. People really take quite a bit of time out of their day to photograph and tell great stories on their blogs for us to read. I definitely am not taking this for granted any longer.

Although I am always amazed at the unbelievable amount of talented artists out there, I realized that creativity is so boundless and our imaginations are so unique and individual. Each and every one of us has a piece of our soul in everything we create and in all the wonderful stories and photographs explaining the stories. I wanted to thank you all for such a wonderful evening spent reading all of your blogs. (I'm so NOT a football fan).

Valentine Marie

I watched the "Marie Antoinette" movie again yesterday and became completely enthralled and immersed in the visual beauty of this movie. I'm so glad so many of you are into "Marie" as much as I am.

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

OMG!!! Another year older. I can't take it. 

Good thing I'm going to stop eating sweets tomorrow, look at what DH bought for me yesterday. 

Today he brought home a Red Velvet Cake. 

Mind you it's only he and I here, so who else is going to HAVE to eat all these sweets? I'm sharing it with my Pink Poodle who is staring at it just waiting for a bite.

The "Amour" Valentine Swap is closed and everyone participating has their swap partners. Let's keep our fingers crossed that all the beautiful creations get to each person with no problems. I'm really looking forward to Valentine's Day when we can take an "Amour" stroll through the blogs to see what a little "LOVE" can do.

Now, I have some really exciting news. I've decided to give myself a little vacation. Just when I can't take another snowy, rainy, cold, wintery day, I'm going to fly down to Jennifer Hayslips

"Petticoats and Parasols" event in Savannah.

From April 22 - 25th, Jennifer will be hosting a wonderfully creative weekend.

I haven't been able to attend either "Silver Bella" so I am NOT going to miss this event! It is going to be full of everything a girl could want. Cupcakes, glittering, shopping, creating, a vendor faire, good food, more shopping, and giggling with the girls. And the best part, it will be WARM. There will be a Haunted Mansion tour and everything! I'm so into this!!!

The event will be held at the Ford Plantation. Just look at this place.

How can you pass this up?

And the famous Jo Packam, writer of the infamous book "Where Women Create" and the Magazine by the same name, will be a Guest Speaker.  I'm sure her words of encouragement and experience will resonate with each and every one of us attending.
