MARIE ANTOINETTE is coming to my house for Christmas!

The tree is up, the ornaments are out, the feathers are flying and the glitter is everywhere. I'm decorating my house with a Marie Antoinette theme this year. Tree top crowns, scrumptious cakes, sweet candies, coaches, masks for the ball, glittered garland, jewels, pearls and everything necessary when expecting the great Marie for a visit.

I am sharing my sneak peeks of some lovely decorations which are in their rightful place awaiting the finishing touches.

I'M AN ANGEL!

Of course not EVERYONE I know thinks so!

But I know this Christmas one lucky little eleven year old girl is going to be really happy when her Angel (Santa) arrives with Warm Cupcake Adorned Flannel Pajamas, Pink Decorated Funky Sneakers, Warm Knee Socks, a great pair of Velour Pants with an awesome matching Hoodie, and a Justin Beiber CD.

I don't know this little girl, but she lives somewhere in my town (and in my heart). Her family is poor and they have been chosen by "The Salvation Army" to receive much needed clothes and shoes. So instead of shedding tears today ~ which I've been doing almost every day this year (it's been a very sad one), I'm going to put a smile on my face and thank God for everything I do have, especially friends like you who call me daily to see how I'm doing, who email me to let me know you're thinking of me, who send me handmade gifts and uplifting greeting cards to cheer me up, and who leave comments on my blog thanking me for giving them a dose of daily inspiration ~ but mostly for giving me hope that I'm not alone and there are people all over the world who love me and think of me often, even when I think I'm ALONE.

FOR ALL THIS LOVE AND KINDNESS I THANK YOU.

The Pink Fairy Cottage

Several months ago I was approached by the Editor of Lotus Publishing in Rome, Italy. She was so inspired by the photos of my Pink Fairy Cottage she asked if they could do a feature story in their upcoming Fall edition of

OF COURSE, I SAID "YES".

The exciting part of the news is this publication is available on news-stands throughout Europe including: Rome, London & Paris to name a few. How amazing is that!

IT'S PINK SATURDAY....

and I'm going romantic all the way. Today I'm sharing with you scrumptious new items added to the shops.

My mermaid wreaths were such a big hit, I thought I would make one more. MERMAID HAVEN

I know that it's still summer and very hot in many parts of the country which continues to inspire me to create lovely mermaid treasures for your Beach Cottage, Bungalow or Romantic Home.

It's a Poodle Kinda of Day

Very cool here in MA. I guess fall has actually arrived. I'm not loving this cool weather! Nope, I'm not! I love summer. Plus it means that I need to get outside and cut down my garden and tuck all my cute garden pots, birdbaths and gazing balls safely away until spring.

I have to remove the quilts and pillows from the Pink Fairy Cottage so the mice won't think that is where they need to nestle and live for the winter. I guess I need to muster up some energy and get myself a movin' out there.
