PINK SATURDAY
Sweet, sweet Beverly at How Sweet the Sound asked me if I would like to be a Featured Blogger this week. Of course I said "Yes". So hang on tight and here we go......
Don't you just love GEMS and JEWELRY? I know I do. Everything from vintage rhinestone brooches to gorgeous European cameos; Bakelite bangles to high school charm bracelets, clip-on 50s earrings to pierced Swavorski crystals; long multi-strands of pearls to hand made fabric roses; necklaces created with soldered/crystal charms; new resin candy rings to those old painted metal flower pins. WE LOVE IT ALL.
So without further ado, let me introduce my NEWEST line of lovely soldered charms ~ "Charming Treasures". Let's just say, these are not your average charm.
So without further ado, let me introduce my NEWEST line of lovely soldered charms ~ "Charming Treasures". Let's just say, these are not your average charm.
I've never seen anything quite like these lovelies before so I hope you love them as much as I do. "Charming Treasures" are actually large, soldered, 3D charms which have been embellished inside and outside the glass.
You all know how much I adore creating just "one" of everything, so this was right up my alley. Tucked inside large 2"x2" glass slides are beautiful and fun images. Added directly on the image I use Swarovski crystals, glitter, flowers, pearls and any tini tiny pretties to accentuate and embellish the lovely photo.
Each and every charm is individually decorated in a coordinating theme. Once I've finished soldering the front and back together, a jump ring is added to the top for hanging. Now I begin my favorite part, adorning the outside of the charm with more scrumptious goodies and glittery treasures. The front and back of each pendant are equally as pretty and can be worn either way.
Wear these "Charming Treasures" by hanging them from a ball chain, vintage seam binding, silk ribbon, ruffled fabric, vintage pearls or whatever your little heart desires. OR...... tie these glittery pretties adding sparkle to your holiday tree; hang from a window shade; tie them to a vintage lamp pull' hang them in between your favorite chandelier crystals; on your favorite mannequin, or give one to a "bride-to-be" as a "Something New" present. All you need is a place to hang them. I have them hanging around my own home, beautifully placed decorating stair posts and bed posts, lamps and shades just waiting to be worn with my favorite outfit.
The holidays are quickly approaching and I am hoping you enjoy these amazing creations as much as I do. I am so proud to bring you a new line of unique, one-of-a-kind, treasures. Have a great weekend.
