Or a lovely vintage item in my New England Treasures Etsy shop.

HAPPY MONDAY

Everyone is preparing for the upcoming holidays. Gift wrap is flying, tape is sticking to all the wrong packages, the kids are whining, the shopping list was eaten by the dog, cookies are burning in the oven, and the cat is knocking down the ornaments off the Christmas tree, but you are still in the SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS! Thank goodness.

I hope none of the above events are happening in your home today or for the rest of the holiday season. I know things are quiet here as usual, so I thought I would shoot off a holiday blog post and read a few of my favorite blogs while I had some time on my hands. Enjoy your day my friend and check out the new items in my Etsy shop. Just click on the right hand side of my blog and you can purchase any of the Christmas gifts below.

HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE

I've had to make some tough decisions these past few months and one of them is letting go of many of the pretties I have purchased over the years. I decided to start with just a few items so it wouldn't be so difficult.

The first place I decided to tend to was my overflowing jewelry box. I adore jewelry. It's almost an obsession. I especially love vintage pins and charm bracelets, charm necklaces and funky earrings. But a girl has got to do, what a girl has got to do.

Since I don't get dressed up and go out so much anymore, I decided that I wanted to let another lady who loves jewelry enjoy the benefits of jewelry destash. These two bracelets were both hand made by talented friends of mine. I hope someone out there scoops up one or both of these bargains. I have listed them at about half the price I paid for them. Enjoy one for yourself or give one to a friend at Christmas!
Have fun shopping.

IT'S RAINING HERE IN NEW ENGLAND!

Fall has officially arrived. It has been cooler, the leaves are slowly changing, and it has been drizzling all day. Not a great day to feel empowered, enlightened or even very creative. But, I thought blogging might help my mood a bit so here I am typing away to my friends.

I have been slowly thinking about the upcoming holiday season and have created a few new pretties. Both of my websites are loaded up with vintage and hand-made items and both of my Etsy sites too. Here are a couple of vintage Fenton pieces I found at a local estate sale. I hope you enjoy them.

WHAT'S NEW TUESDAY!

Today I am posting one of my all time favorite wreaths. It's called "SUGAR PLUM FAIRY" and it is just scrumptious. Inspired by the Marie Antoinette ornaments made by Michelle at Rose Petals and Blooms, I couldn't resist adding my own little sweets, vintage ornaments and special added pastries to create this Sweet Wreath.

What is wonderful about this wreath is there are a few holiday items on it so it is a perfect addition to your holiday decor, but it is also a stunning wreath which can be displayed all year round. I know I would have a tough time taking this beauty down after the holidays. Why not enjoy it every day.

It is a lovely wreath with an etheral charm. Soft and precious and oh so romantic. You must see this stunner in person to truly appreciate all the small additions which give this it's overall look of a pastry store, or your favorite candy shop. You can find this lovely in my Treasured Heirlooms Boutique under "Wreaths Magnifique". Enjoy and have a great day.

Happy Sunday Everyone,

It's been a very long time since I have been actually "working" my shops. Sometimes life gets in the way of progress.

Well I'm back in the saddle just in time for the holiday season and I am bringing you some incredibly beautiful wreaths, garlands, vintage jewels, and gorgeous holiday gifts at very affordable prices.

I am also cleaning out my jewelry box and selling some of my favorite pieces. I just don't go out much anymore, so I want someone else to enjoy these beautiful creations made by some amazing artists.

I will be posting new items everyday. Some will be WHITE, some will be PASTEL, and some holiday items will be in the traditional RED and GREEN. Whatever you're taste is, I'll have something just for you. I hope you enjoy what I've got prepared for the upcoming holiday season.

Although there are other sites that make lovely wreaths, there is only ONE place you can get an "ORIGINAL Cathy Scalise Wreath", as seen in such esteemed magazines as"Romantic Homes", "Romantic Country" and "Country Victoria" to name a few. They are a treasure to last a lifetime. Enjoy!

A large, white and scrumptiously vintage Putz House is the focal point of this lovely white wreath. White Flocked Pinecones, Vintage White and Silver Mercury Glass Balls, Glittery Snowflakes adorned Vintage Jewels, white strands of Pearls, Mica flakes, a Silver Lovebird, and a Shooting Star vintage brooch are just a few of the gorgeous items that makes this a MUST HAVE WREATH for your white holiday decor.

Click on the red words above to see more photos of this wreath,
or if you are interested in purchasing it.

CREATING "MARIE" STYLE
Magazine
by Sonia Crouse

I have to thank Sonia Crouse and her amazing team of writers and editors for publishing such a high-end, quality, and stunning magazine. It is filled to the brim with so much eye candy, lovely tutorials, free images to use in your artwork or scrapbooking projects, and coverage of Cassandra's "Marie's Dance Des Fleurs Art Event" this past spring in Tampa. It was beautifully photographed and made me so sad I could not attend as I had planned.

I am honored to have been featured in Sonia's newest publication "Creating Marie Style". It has pages upon pages of scrumptious photos, ideas and heart-warming creations by many talented ladies all of whom still adore creating with the fru fru style, elegance, whimsy, and pomp & circumstance of the 17th century era of "Marie Antoinette".

Please click the image on the left side of my blog to get your copy which is
ON SALE for only $9.95. I assure you, you won't be sorry once you have this scrumptious magazine in your little hands.

Thank you again Sonia and everyone who participated in this lovely publication. Enjoy!
